I have never had a movie moment. I have had a Shakespearean tragedy life. Ok, maybe that is a bit too dramatic, but when my sons were little, they said I had Charlie Brown’s life or at least his luck.
Why? You know how Lucy always pulls the ball away right before Charlie Brown can kick it? That is exactly my life. No cap.
I don’t ever have to buy shoes, because the other ones are dropping all around me!
My black cloud, my glass half full. Shit, black cats circle me for fun. I have learned to set my expectations below sea level, because life is one great disappointment. At least that is how it feels in my skin.
So, movie moments? Tragic comedy comes to mind, because there are moments of hilarity in my gut punches.
In my movie, Lucy is my life, and I am the eternally optimistic pessimist Charlie Brown.
