Daily writing prompt
If you had an unlimited budget for 24 hours, what would you do?
I would love to be the heroic altruist and say I would solve world problems, but…
I would first invest so that when my 24 hours runs out, I dont. Next, I would have a travel agent book me a lifetime of travel adventures. Then, I would buy the most gorgeous antebellum home on the South Carolina coast, furnished if possible. Boat, jet skis, etc. You know, Southern aqua accoutrements.
Of course, send my sons a few dollars as well. Did I cover the most important stuff? Oh well, as long as I covered my own existence. They say money can’t buy you happiness, but I an attest: not being able to cover bills, no matter how “good” my life is is misery.
Only people with money say that kinda shit.
